You must:<\/strong>
\u2022 hold 5 GSCEs grade A-C or 5-9 including Maths, English Language and a Science or equivalent qualification.<\/span><\/p>

\u2022 be fluent in English (and, if applicable, an ICAO Level 4 on completion of training). For non-native English speakers, you will need a certificate proving you have achieved International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Level 4.5 overall, with no less than 4.5 in any individual area (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking). This must be the Academic test, not General Training.<\/p>

\u2022 Hold a valid passport with the unrestricted right to work and live in the UK.<\/p>

\u2022 Be between 1.57m (5\u20192\u201d) and 1.90m (6\u20193\u201d) tall. Height is accurately determined during the assessment process. If you are taller than 1.90m, you may submit an application, but may be required to undergo a functionality test.<\/span><\/p>

\u2022 Be able to hold unrestricted medicals including; UK CAA Class 1, EASA Class 1 and FAA Class 3.<\/p>

\u2022 Produce a criminal record check (CRC) basic disclosure certificate before training can commence.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The entry criteria for this course is five x GCSE\u2019s, grade 4 or above, including Maths, Science and English Language. If applying from outside the UK, please see UK NARIC for guidance on equivalent academic qualifications.<\/span><\/div>

From a regulatory perspective, it is not a requirement to have A-Levels or a degree (or equivalent); however it is important to note that some airlines may stipulate this for their programmes or at point of placement. This varies from airline to airline and they will often stipulate a minimum grade, rather than specific subjects.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

There is a lot that you can do to help prepare for your assessment process. Firstly, research is key. It is important that you understand the role of a commercial pilot with Ryanair and the responsibilities involved. It is also important that you can demonstrate your motivation towards this career and why you believe you are suitable for this exciting opportunity.<\/p>

Aptitude testing is an area that also can be prepared for. Skyborne use AON online testing. You can practice assessments online.\u00a0<\/p>

Consider the non technical aspects also; team work and leadership, among others. These are all key qualities necessary to be successful as a commercial pilot.<\/p>
