Propel flight academy by delta

To be eligible to apply for the  Propel Flight Academy you must be referred by Delta or a partner organization. You cannot apply directly through Skyborne. 

Some of the partner organizations with whom Delta has a relationship with include (but are not limited to):

• NIFA
• OBAP
• PAPA
• LPA
• NGPA
• Women in Aviation
• MN Aviation Career Education Camp
• Sisters of the Skies, and others.

Student pilots at Propel Flight Academy will complete Private, Instrument, Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certifications at Delta’s preferred training partner, Skyborne Airline Academy in Vero Beach, FL.

Successful students will be offered employment with Skyborne as a CFI, receiving a sponsorship from Skyborne for CFII and MEI, until they reach 1,500 hours of flight experience.

Upon completion, Propel Flight Academy pilots will transition to Endeavor Air and before seamlessly progressing to Delta.

A select number of candidates who meet the qualifications during the application process will be considered for the Propel program, which will include application review, testing, and in-person interview. Acceptance numbers will be based on staffing forecast needs.

If you are referred to Delta by a partner organization and accepted into Propel Flight Academy, you will be eligible for a Propel scholarship and interest coverage for a special student loan with Delta Community Credit Union.
