A bit about me:
“My journey to be a pilot began at the age of 4 years when I had my first trip from Kenya to South Africa. I remember this picture in the flight-deck, little as I was, with two-thumbs up all smiles. 16 years later seeing the same 4 year old still having the same passion and drive to be a pilot. I knew this was meant to be.
I completed my high-school and followed through the aviation career joining Skyborne Airline Academy, at the time FlightSafety international.
I chose Skyborne Airline Academy as my pilot training institute after having a few conversations with the management and staff and seeing the impact the training centre had created through the UK branch. The vision for the training Academy to be the top of the line training institution in the world, with the introduction of modern systems also played a major part in my decision to be part of the trainees at Skyborne.
Indeed Skyborne has not only been a training institute to me, but the continuous support system in place, from the management to the instructors, fellow students and staff, as well as the welcoming Vero Beach community that shared the beauty of its gems (such as cultures, warm Florida beaches just to mention but a few) made my training a success with ease and a loving feel of being at home even when 7000 miles away from my mother country. I will forever be grateful to each one ,for putting a smile on my face each and every day.
It is my hope and prayer as I finalize my training at Skyborne, to be able to share the knowledge I have gained as a flight instructor at Skyborne and later transition into the airlines.
My biggest encouragement is that, even though the journey to any dream is not always the simplest; it has its ups and downs, long days and nights, sometimes tears and a great feeling of giving up. One thing to remember is that you are definitely blessed with a million little miracles, and when you count them one by one, from your sight in the morning to the breathe, to many more that you can barely mention in words, you will see that the dream you hold can become a reality and a little miracle to yourself and others.”
