A bit about me:
“From a young age, I’ve always had an interest in aviation, sparked by traveling around Europe with my parents, and I have never really seen myself having a career in any other field.
My training at Skyborne so far has been a life-changing experience, from meeting new people to earning my wings. The onboarding process was seamless, kickstarting my excitement when my uniform arrived a couple of weeks before moving into the Skyborne accommodation in Cheltenham. The flight and classroom training I’ve received up to now have really given me fantastic introduction to life in the cockpit.
I chose Skyborne for a number of reasons. Firstly was the fantastic customer service team giving me all the information about life at Skyborne. Secondly, the purpose built, state-of-the-art facilities. And finally the opportunity to spend a portion of my time in stunning Vero Beach. I am incredibly proud to be a Skyborne trainee, owing to the professional, yet very personal approach taken to everything and the fact that the entire training experience is built around preparing the trainee for life in the air.
My dream aviation job would have to be flying around the islands of Scotland with the incredible scenery and, of course, working in the place where it all began with my first flight experience overflying the islands off the west coast.
My advice to someone looking to get into aviation would be to follow your dreams! The feeling of flying is the best thing in the world and although it may seem like an impossible task at first, I can safely say it is worth all the hard work.”
