Eligible applicants should have zero or limited experience. Applicants who hold certificates/ratings beyond a Private Pilot Single Engine Land are not eligible.

No, it is not essential however a Graduate of a four-year degree program from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Dept. of Education recognized accrediting organization is preferred.

The interview is competency based and will require you to discuss previous experiences, in detail so please reflect on suitable examples. Yes. You will be eligible to be considered for a Qualified Job Offer (QJO) from Delta at PPL completion. If you have met the required training standard, you will be recommended to Delta to undertake their assessment process with a view to achieving the QJO.
Having successfully completed your PPL training with Skyborne to the necessary standard, you will be eligible to complete the Propel Flight Academy by Delta interview process. If successful, you will receive a Qualified Job Offer (QJO) from Delta, as well as training sponsorship to the value of up to $20,000. Your training invoice will be amended accordingly for the remainder of your training journey with Skyborne.
Living on site is not required but strongly encouraged for full training immersion and convenient travel between accommodation and training center.
Ground school M-F 8AM-4PM. Flight schedules vary, and students fly 3-5 times a week. Each flight requires 2-3 hours of studying.
Our main goal is to maintain a 6-1 student to instructor ratio.

Delta has chosen Skyborne as the training facility for their Propel Flight Academy after extensive research vetting flight training operations around the country.
You will be tested on motivation, safety focus, situational awareness, and problem solving throughout the AON exam. The interview will consist of learning about your background, your plan to progress towards your goal of becoming a professional pilot, as well as behavioral and situational based questions.
We have class start dates on the first Monday of each month.
We are offering full courses only at this time and will not be able to extend an application to those holding licenses/ratings beyond a Student Pilot License. Any hours held will count towards total time and will be at Admissions discretion.
It is a requirement for any current Delta employees to resign from their position if they successfully secure a place on the program.

Employment as an instructor is not guaranteed as it is based on both Skyborne’s staffing needs and student performance during training.
Our course flow and hours are designed for the average student’s progression. If additional flying hours are required due to student performance, both the student and Skyborne will agree on a specific cost which is then included in an “Additional Training Agreement” format called an ATA.
There is an inground pool, student lounges, grill-pits, a sand volleyball court and a basketball court. Plenty of events are held around campus including basketball tournaments, bake sales, SOUPer Friday and celebration of holidays for domestic and international students.
