Propel CFI PATH by delta

Candidates must be employed as a CFI and actively instruct at Skyborne Airline Academy and have between 500-1250 total flight hours. Participants must have earned Instrument Rating, Commercial Certificate, and CFI at the partner school (exceptions available). Participants must receive a recommendation from Skyborne.

Upon Propel Indoctrination, participants will receive a Qualified Job Offer (QJO) to Endeavor Air and Delta. After building time and meeting ATP minimums, participants will onboard at Endeavor where they will fly according to Endeavor’s Career Progression Program, including flying least 24 months of active service as captain, after which they will transition to Delta. This streamlines the experience so that there are no further interviews needed after the Propel interview, guaranteed a defined path to Delta.

Yes. This is a guaranteed path to Delta mainline by streamlining all Propel pilots through Endeavor Air. Upon selection, Propel pilot participants will receive a qualified job offer (QJO) for Endeavor and Delta, guaranteeing a defined path to the Delta flight deck. The Propel interview will be pilot participants’ only interview for their ultimate goal of becoming a Delta pilot.

The first application window will open in quarter 4, 2024.

Yes. And if a Delta employee is selected for the CFI Pathway, they will be placed on a Propel LOA with the associated benefits.

Upon selection and Indoc, participants will be assigned a Propel mentor for duration of their time in the program.

Participants accepted in the CFI Pathway are not eligible for Delta financial assistance.
