As trainees on the IndiGo programme you will have access to our Piper Warrior and Seminoles training aircraft located at Vero Beach, Florida as part of your training. There is an exceptional in-house engineering team to maintain all aircraft and to optimise flight training experience and maximise flying time!
The Skyborne fleet is made up of over 50 Piper single and multi-engine aircraft. The Warriors and Seminoles are maintained to the highest standards, by our in-house engineering team under the FAA Part 145 Progressive Maintenance Programme.
To complement your training, you will combine both classroom based learning and in-air practical training with additional time in our two Redbird Simulators. These FAA certified Advanced Aviation Training Devices are equipped with features such as wrap-around visuals, realistic flight controls, and interchangeable cockpits.
Our approved in-house FAA Certified maintenance facility at Vero Beach boasts three hangars to allow us to keep our aircraft on-ramp and ready, by our expert in-house aircraft mechanics team who work tirelessly to keep our aircraft fully maintained under the FAA Part 145 Progressive Maintenance Program.
What’s more, we are located next door to the Piper aircraft factory for additional support.
