We recently caught up with newly qualified Certified Flight Instructor, Tanner Myler, to ask him some quick fire questions. Here’s what he had to say…
Tell us about your training at Skyborne
“Skyborne is an incredible place to train, and I feel truly blessed to have been a student here. The instructors are top-notch and genuinely care about student success. What stands out most is the people and the culture. Leaders, instructors, students, and staff all contribute to a professional and supportive environment that pushes everyone to be better.”
What advice do you have for students working toward their CFI?
“Plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to prepare for your lessons. CFI requires strong time management, but if you stay organized and enjoy the process, it can be a lot of fun.”
Looking to the future, what’s your plan?
“I see myself flying for a regional airline, working toward a captain seat, and continuing to build experience with the long-term goal of flying for a major airline someday.”
What’s your favorite memory at Skyborne so far?
“There are so many great memories, but my favorite part has been celebrating the achievements along the way, both big and small. Whether it was completing a tough checkride, helping each other prepare for an oral exam, or spending time on the ramp after a fun flight, those moments are what made my time at Skyborne so meaningful.”
Thank you for chatting to us, Tanner. We have loved watching you achieve great things and are proud to be part of your journey to this point!
