Skyborne Airline Academy proudly supported the 2026 Vero Beach Air Show as an official sponsor, joining aviation organizations, industry partners, and the local community for a weekend celebrating aviation at Vero Beach Regional Airport.
Held on May 15–17th, the event welcomed thousands of spectators to Vero Beach for aerial performances, military demonstrations, and aviation exhibits, including the return of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. The Vero Beach Airshow has become one of the region’s largest aviation events and was recently recognized as the “Civilian Air Show of the Year” by the Blue Angels organization.
As part of its involvement, Skyborne hosted guests and activities in their VIP area which included complimentary ice cream, popcorn, refreshments, and live music by local artist, Jae Wilder, all from its ramp facilities at Vero Beach Regional Airport, providing attendees with a close-up look at the training environment and operations. Visitors also had the opportunity to see one of many of Skyborne’s Piper aircraft, a fleet that plays a central role in training the next generation of professional pilots.
The event further highlighted Skyborne’s longstanding relationship with fellow Vero Beach-based aviation company Piper Aircraft, which served as the presenting sponsor of the 2026 air show. Skyborne currently operates an all-Piper training fleet at its Vero Beach campus, supporting students through every stage of airline pilot training.
The airshow also reflected the strength of the aviation community in Vero Beach, home to both Skyborne Airline Academy and Piper Aircraft. With growing demand for pilots worldwide, events like the Vero Beach Air Show continue to play an important role in connecting the public with aviation and highlighting career opportunities across the industry.
