Whilst training at Skyborne, you will experience a range of aircraft and simulators to bring the theory you learn to life. Single-engine flight training takes place at our fair weather base in Florida, with the multi-engine phase being conducted here in the UK. Find out more about our fleet and simulators below.

UK Fleet

performance, stability and handling

During your flight training phases in the UK you will have access to the Skyborne fleet of Diamond DA-42s and the Zlin Z 242 L. Optimal training aircraft owing to their performance, stability, handling and ease of operation. Equipped with advanced avionics, G1000 flight instrumentation and Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC).

Over 60 Piper single and multi-engine aircraft fleet

As part of your training, you’ll spend time at our fair-weather academy in Vero Beach, Florida, flying a fleet of more than 60 Piper single- and multi-engine aircraft. Trusted by flight schools worldwide for their durability and reliability, Piper aircraft provide an exceptional training experience, and with Piper’s manufacturing facility on our doorstep, there’s no better place to learn.

Your theoretical training will be supported by the use of some of the most advanced flight training devices and equipment available in the industry, including the Boeing 737 MAX, Airbus A320 and Diamond DA-42 simulators.
