easyJet Integrated ATPL faqs
- Prior to the application
All applications can be submitted directly through Skyborne. Use the register interest form and one of our Flight Training Advisors will be in touch to discuss any queries you have and to share the application link with you.
Initial web based selection process:
This is a series of online psychometric, numeracy and aptitude assessments using our AON assessment tool to help determine whether or not you have the core competencies needed to successfully commence the course.
Attend an online assessment:
This includes a series of non-technical activities.
If successful, you will progress to the final stage for a non-technical assessment, including a group exercise and personal competency-based interview with the easyJet recruitment team.
easyJet are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about aviation and becoming a pilot at easyJet.
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, grade 4 or above, to include Maths, Science and English Language.
A minimum 18 years of age at time of course commencement.
To be able to obtain an unrestricted UK CAA Class 1 Medical and FAA 3rd Class Medical.
Must be fluent in English – both written and spoken. As a guide, you must be proficient enough to achieve ICAO Level 4 or IELTS Level 5.5 (academic)
Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
You are able to apply, however all applicants must complete the full Integrated ATPL Programme at Skyborne.
There is a lot that you can do to help prepare for selection. Firstly, research is key. It is important that you understand the role of a commercial pilot and the responsibilities involved. It is also important that you can demonstrate your motivation towards this career and why you believe you are suitable for this exciting opportunity.

You must obtain a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Class 1 Medical Certificate and FAA third class medical.
You will be required to wait a minimum of 6 months before reapplying to any easyJet pilot training programme.
- About the training
No, the payments are structured over a 365-day period. You can view the payment plan here.
Yes, the payment plan includes the cost of your type rating at easyJet.
You will receive a Conditional Offer of Employment from easyJet on successful completion of the assessment process.
The training at Skyborne is the same syllabus as our UK CAA Integrated ATPLÂ which you can find here. If you complete training successfully, you will complete further training with the airline for your Type Rating.
Yes. We find that when cadets are staying in the same environment together, it creates a stronger mindset and gets better results.
Yes. Accommodation is included for the entirety of your training in the cost of the course on a self-catered basis. You will therefore need to budget for living expenses for the duration of the course.
