Skyborne Graduate Takes Home ‘Most Supportive Student’ Award

Skyborne Airline Academy is thrilled to announce that graduate Libby Roebuck has been awarded Most Supportive Student at the Pilot Careers Live Professional Flight Training Awards 2025.

Libby’s journey from cabin crew to pilot training highlights her natural caring and supportive nature, which she has brought to every stage of her course. She has been an invaluable source of guidance and encouragement for fellow trainees.

The judges highlighted her dedication and positive influence: “Libby started her aviation career as cabin crew where no doubt her DNA of being supportive and caring was further developed. She has brought the same essential caring and supportive attitudes to her pilot training course, offering guidance and encouragement through the challenges of training with fellow cadets. She has supported new cadets into pilot training, volunteers her time in the ‘Fly2Help’ programme and is here at Pilot Careers Live encouraging aspirant pilots to enter the profession.”

Libby has now begun her flying career with Loganair Limited as a First Officer, based out of Aberdeen. Skyborne celebrates her achievement and looks forward to seeing her continue to make a positive impact in the aviation industry.
